Wendy Murray, Musical Chameleon
Wendy’s voice is warm, rich melting chocolate, emotionally charged, sometimes raw, always heartfelt.
She moves effortlessly from sultry blues, smooth latin jazz, swinging jazz, quirky cabaret, beautiful folk, world and pop melodies, to Argentinian Tango and the captivating Persian Prayer.
Wendy has travelled widely and has performed nationally and internationally in Vanuatu, Cuba, Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Wales and London and New York.
She is currently studying for a master’s degree whilst teaching voice, guitar and musicianship. Wendy is a music therapist working with trauma and disability. She leads 2 choirs and is still learning guitar, classical piano and Shakuhachi. She continues to travel and immerse herself in her great love of beauty, art in nature and all things musical. She lives in the bush, is a beekeeper an avid gardener and reader.
